Constancio Larguia
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Before founding Weemba, Constancio Larguia was a venture investor and Chairman of Bumeran.com, the first on-line jobs search engine of Latin America, with operations in Argentina, Venezuela, and Mexico. The company was later acquired by Terra Lycos. Constancio started his career while in college as co-founder of Patagon.com, the first on-line stock brokerage in Latin America. The company had operations in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Chile and the United States. Headquartered in Miami, the company was later acquired by Banco Santander of Spain in a cash deal that valued the company at $705 million. He graduated in International Business at Universidad de San Andrés in Argentina.
Sebastian Bellora
Chief Technology Officer
Sebastian Bellora is a partner and the Chief Technology Officer for Weemba. He is responsible for the development of our global technology platform. Sebastian is devoted to the study of new technologies for transactional and community systems. In the last decade, he worked as a Senior Consultant for Microsoft, successfully running several global projects, with a focus on mission-critical transactional systems, cutting-edge technologies and operational efficiency. Previously, he oversaw the technological expansion of Patagon.com and development of community systems, finally leading the quality control group of the application-oriented development community. Sebastian got his start in the 1990s, when he worked in business technology consulting services for businesses that helped grow the Internet.
Martin Arriola
Chief Operating Officer
Martin Arriola has a Masters Degree in Economics, as well as more than ten years of business experience with Internet startups. He owned successful marketing businesses before overseeing the development, implementation and compliance with key corporate policies for Weemba regarding risk management and financial reporting, as well as compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. He was also the Director of Technological Infrastructure at Patagon.com, the first online stock brokerage in Latin America. As COO, Martin has a hand in all of the day-to-day operations of Weemba including developing successful partnerships with service providers.
Matthew Reid
Chief of Lender Relations
Matthew Reid is directing the recruitment of Lenders to participate in Weemba, as well as working to create and build our marketing efforts. He has a Masters Degree in Accounting Information Systems and was licensed as a CPA in 1995. His business experience runs the spectrum from entrepreneurial to corporate finance for a Fortune 500 company. He worked in the Financial Services industry for Merrill Lynch and Citigroup Smith Barney. Matthew’s background both as a private banker and as an entrepreneur gives him unique insight to the need for a financial services platform that meets the needs of both lenders and borrowers.
Clara Olivera
Finance & Accounting
Clara Olivera is in charge of coordinating the accounting, finance and administration department of Weemba. She studied accounting and is a CPA. She worked several years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the auditing department. She was later certified as a specialist in Non-Profit Organizations, and worked as Director of Accounting and Finance in Interrupción, an organization that is working to build a sustainable future through responsible consumption, sustainable development, organic farming and fair trade.
