These rules (the “Forum Rules”), as may be modified by us from time to time, will be effective as of the effective day set forth below, and applicable to all Users that shall previously accept our Terms of Use. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning set forth in the Terms of Use.
The Forum Rules shall apply to all content, including posts and comments to articles, blogs and on any part of a Loan Project, available in the Website. Content, when allowed, can be read and/or seen by any visitor to the Website, at any time, whether or not such visitor has registered as a Community Member, Borrower or Lender. In order to contribute posts to the Forum or comment on blogs and articles, a visitor must first register as a Community Member, Borrower or Lender.
The Forums have been established to allow Users to, when applicable, voluntarily and spontaneously, express themselves freely on matters related to money lending markets, trends in interest rates, credit agreements, consumer protection, financial issues and monetary policy issues related to economic or political matters, among others.
Weemba believes in free expression and discussion, and therefore no prior restrictions to publications shall apply. Weemba believes, and expects it Users to join us, in self-regulation of the comments and content of its users when included in the Forums, as well as peaceful out-of-court-settlement of disputes that may arise in discussions.
Correspondingly, Weemba urges all Users to avoid unnecessary aggression towards other Users or to third parties on the understanding that in any discussion, even in vehement style being used, it is better to avoid personal attacks when expressing personal views. Weemba makes every effort to prevent, in compliance with these caveats, Users from engaging in abusive conduct, libel, spamming, hacking and/or cracking and in posting racial, religious, social, gender or any kind of discrimination. In this sense, Weemba may, at its sole discretion or upon request of other Users, remove those contents that contain such expressions. Similarly, we may remove from the Website any content containing User’s personal information, or any attempt to publicly identify personal or contact information of a User included with a Loan Project.
Weemba reserves the right to permanently block anyone who violates the Forum Rules or who, in our judgment, interferes with the ability of others to enjoy the Website or infringes on the rights of others. We also reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to delete, move or edit any posts or comment we deem unacceptable or inappropriate, for legal or other reasons. We will comply with all legal requirements regarding disclosure of messages to others, including law enforcement agencies. Without limiting the foregoing, we may immediately and without warning terminate your use of and access to the Website if you engage in, among others, any of the following prohibited activities:
- Posting any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, libelous, or obscene.
- Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Posting any content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under any contractual relationship.
- Posting any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary right of any party.
- Posting any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, or any other form of solicitation (spamming).
Any User who duplicates, electronically or in printed form, re-transmits, redistributes, or without limitation, uses content on this Website, shall be solely responsible for any violations of copyright or proprietary or other personal right, including libel, slander, or any other personal injury arising out of his or her use of such content.
To report any forum violation, as described in these Forum Rules or the Privacy Policy of Weemba, the user must click on the “Report” button in the Forum, if available, or send us an e-mail to support@weemba.com. These complaints will be studied by the legal staff of Weemba and, if appropriate, will result in the deleting or editing of any content that violates the Forum Rules and/or the Terms of Use and/or Privacy Policy of Weemba.
